ZANESVILLE − The Zanesville City Council Community Development Committee is meeting in regular session at 5 p.m. Monday in council chambers at city hall.

Discussed ordinances will include amending and revising the zoning map, amending two ordinances and submitting and application for Ohio Department of Natural Resources Abandoned Mine Land Economics Revitalization grant funding.

ZANESVILLE − The annual Genesis HealthCare System's Spirit of Women Girls Night Out will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 14 at EagleSticks Golf Club, 2655 Maysville Pike.

The even features a wine tasting, dinner, dessert, shopping with local vendors and a photo booth. The purse contest returns where attendees will vote for their favorite for a chance to win a purse and other prizes. Medical staff will also be on site to discuss services provided.

Guest speaker is Dr. Audrey O. Onuzo on "It's Your time," with a focus on women's health. Kay Harms will also have a presentation on "Dressed for My Day."

Cost is $20. Register at genesishcs.org.

NEW LEXINGTON − A fundraiser to benefit the Dolly Parton Imagination Library will be from 5 to 11 p.m. Sept. 16 at the St. Rose Community Center, 120 N. High St., New Lexington.

There will be a live and silent auction and beer and wine will be available to purchase. Donations can be dropped off and tickets can be purchased in person at 4757 Tile Plant Road. General admission is $25.

DUNCAN FALLS − Franklin Local Schools Board of Education will meet in regular session at 5 p.m. Sept. 13 at the administrative center, 360 Cedar St., Duncan Falls. This is a time change from previously announced.
