It was an evening with a familiar ring indeed.

With Pasadena’s iconic City Hall looming on the evening horizon, pugilists squared off in the 8th Annual Centennial Square Boxing Show on Friday, Aug. 25.

The family-friendly event featured 12 bouts of Olympic-style boxing, with male and female competitors ages 8 and older.
