Mashpee Women’s Club Luncheon Will Feature Aerial Photographer Margot Cheel

Margo Cheel will present her aerial photography of Cape Cod.

Margot Cheel, an award-winning photographer, pilot and arts educator, will present her work at the Mashpee Women's Club lunch meeting on Tuesday, August 15, at 11:30 AM at the New Seabury Country Club. All are welcome to attend.

For the past two decades, Ms. Cheel has served realtors, environmental groups, homeowners, interior designers and many others. Her photography has been chosen for juried exhibitions throughout New England and has appeared in numerous publications and on Boston’s WCVB program, “Chronicle.”

Ms. Cheel will be taking everyone on a “flight” over Cape Cod with a slideshow of her aerial photography. The perspective from above will reveal the beauty, patterns and changes of the land and seascapes. Many photos in the show can be found in her book, “Sea & Sand from the Sky,” and also in her children’s book, “What Do You See: Finding Shapes from the Sky.” Both books and small prints will be available to purchase.

The luncheon includes a BBQ buffet with cornbread, followed by summer sorbet and tea cookies for dessert. The cost to register is $36 for members, $40 for non-members. Reservations must be received by August 8.
